I have always liked Dr. Seuss and although not one of his best, this is a good book to read to a little one that likes to make silly sounds. BTW, what the hell is a wocket anyway?
Thoughtless Thursday: So...what the hell is this?
I was clicking away on the old internets earlier this morning and came across this picture:
This is supposed to be the "new" KITT for the newly-recycled Knight Rider series due out in a couple of months. What the hell? A Ford? A MUSTANG? Now most of you know that the original was an early `80's Trans-AM, which was a pretty futuristic looking car in a world full of Yugos, Crown Victorias, and Cadillacs. Christ, I think a baby angel just died. I'm not sure how much better a concept I could have come up with, but I certainly know I could have done better than this as a replacement for the original KITT. I will reserve any and all bad thoughts concerning the actual show itself until I see the 1st episode. Until then, here is a picture of what the real KITT should look like. Enjoy and have a great Thursday.

that new one is just like a souped up old BMW, blah.
KITT RULES.
Yeah they were going for a futuristic looking car back then and there was no reason not to do it again. They could have gone with a Lamborghini or come up with a concept car. I am sure it was a matter of money, Ford obviosly ponied ( no pun intended ) up the most money to have them use their vehicle in the show.
Best theme song ever--next to Simon & Simon.
I know, hon, I think it sucks, too. I just keep telling myself "at least they didn't use a Dodge Charger!"
Does this injustice topple Bumblebee as a Camaro off the top of the list? ;-)
What?? That just looks like every other car parked in the High School lot down the street. That car is gonna spend all his time racing Supras in instead of fighting crime. A travesty indeed...
@Xbox: KITT - One car to to rule them all...
@The King Leo - It sucks that money has to be more of an influence than actual creativity. And that pun was awful...awfully awesome.
@Denguy - That theme song was stuck in my head for at least a decade and a half, retrievable for use at a moments notice. Remember that Bollywood-esque club song that used the theme song as the hook? It was somwhere around 2002 or 2003 it came out. Hasselhoff is even big in India.
@Coal Miner's GD - Thank God it wasn't a Charger. That car isn't exactly the best looking recycled new vehicle I've seen.
@Summer - Almost my dear...almost. That was just plain wrong. I think the devil had a hand in that one.
@BusyDad - Tell me about it! Christ, I think they wrote this script mostly during the writer's strike. The show already seems devoid of intelligent creativity, and I haven't even seen an episode. Idiots.
SO not impressed.
I used to love KITT! I might check it out despite the lame car.
Wow. That sucks.... not really planning on watching the remake anyway.

Wow. I am with you. That should be illegal and the person who made that decision should have been fired. I wonder how that happened???

I'm neither a car nor a Knight Rider person, and even I am disappointed by this!

Mustang? Exactly dude. That is stupidity. I love that sound--wooo-wooo. That was the show man.
By the way, I am back after blog implosion.
We made it through about 10 minutes of the new Knight Rider last night before declaring it horrible. We need the Trans-Am and Hoff back!
Who will play Michael Knight?
Lemme guess...Simon Cowell?
"I think a baby angel just died" . . . I am so stealing that!
As an avid viewer of Knight Rider at the age of 10, I am refusing to watch the new one. Because no one could possibly be cooler than David Hasselhoff. (Did I actually just say that? Good Lord, I AM drunk.)

So, will I get kicked off the blog if I say that I like Ford Mustangs in general? Not saying that I do. Not saying that I own one either - a helluva lot better looking then the black one - but I didn't say that.
